This is a twirly skirt I made for my daughter Jade for her birthday. I made it with this tutorial.
This was my first attempt at anything with gathers, and they were way easier than I thought they would be. I used some of my favorite fabrics, now I NEED :) one for myself! (I have been called the skirt queen before). Can a person really have too many skirts?

Jade is very lucky to have such a cute skirt! Put them on her now before she gets to a tomboy stage. My Mallory is 7 1/2 and just started eing a tomboy, well at least 80% of the time!
