The Hive

Tommorrow The Hive starts and I am super excited that I get to be a part of it!

Directions to The Hive

Take 1-84 {Via 1-15 or Hwy. 89} up Weber Canyon towards Evanston/Morgan. Take Exit 92 to Mt. Green. Take a left off the exit ramp & then a right at the yield sign onto Old Hwy. Road. You'll travel East for 3 miles & then will pass an older church house on your left, take your next left onto Day Lily Drive. Then take your 2nd right onto Lilac Lane. The Hive will be on your right at 4011 Lilac Lane. Look for the sign & a big pink balloon pointing the way.

Valentine shopping!

My things will be for sale at two places this weekend.  Art Market on Friday and Saturday.

And Oh Sweet Sadie.  There is an opening night party for OSS tonight from 6pm - 9 pm.

Then it is also open on Friday the 3rd from 10-9 and Saturday the 4th from 10-5.

piles

Piles is what describes everywhere around my house as of late.  The above pile is a pretty one at least, a batch of dish cloths waiting to get the rest of their tags.  I have other piles, like dishes, and laundry, and toys, and piles on the kitchen island.  And piles and piles of cut out sewing projects.

I haven't been getting much done for the past two weeks, I have been sick with a cold turned sinus infection, I think I am finally on the mend though, still sick, but feeling more like myself.  So, this finished project makes me super happy.  Being sick and not feeling like doing anything but napping and playing Dr. Mario on the Wii kinda drives me nuts.  I like getting stuff done so when I can't I kinda feel useless.

I am super excited for these last two shows, I can't wait to see all the amazing handmade things.

You know what else I am excited for?

Getting back to normal life, not this sew every second of every day and night.

And maybe I can get some Christmas decorations up too :)

And clean my house.

And help finish cleaning up outside from our hurricane winds that we had last week, 102 miles per hour.

We lost part of our tree in our back yard, some shingles, and part of our fence blew down, but besides that we are okay and feel blessed, and we weren't without power as long as others.  I'll share some pictures next week of some of the crazyness that was the street we live on, completely blown over 100 year old trees.

Anyways... If you are local come check out one or both of the shows!  I am going to be on the lookout for stocking stuffers at both of them.  I am sure I will find other things that I feel need to 

come home with me too :)

Holiday shows this week!

First up is Jeni Gochnour's Holiday Art Show.  It starts tonight and goes till Thursday.

I have plenty of things for gifts or yourself, as do all the other talented artists at both of these shows.

Events for the week

Nalisa Dunford's Christmas Show is on Thursday and Friday.

Bijou Market is on Friday and Saturday in Provo, and also next Saturday in Taylorsville.

This blog may just become an event announcement arena for the next little bit, I am up to my ears in projects, my house is a disaster area, this is my life right before the holidays :)

Next Thursday I will have my wares set up at the Posh on a Penny Boutique.

It also begins my six week long marathon of holiday shows.  I will be setting up my things at shows every week starting next week all the way until mid December.

I now have all of the shows I am involved in posted in my sidebar, there are 9!

I know I am a bit crazy :) 

SPARK

I am super excited about tomorrow, it's SPARK!

Not only do I get to attend as a student, but I will also be selling my wares at the Artisan Market.  This year the market will be open to the public.  Here's all the details:

Summer show schedule

 First up is Bella's Vintage Market,  this is going to be held at Wheeler Farm on July 9th and I am super excited, their will be lots of vintage and handmade yumminess!

 

Next up, starting on July 14th, every Thursday through August 25th I will be at the Twilight Concert series at Pioneer Park in Salt Lake City.  This will be so much fun, I get to sell my stuff and listen to music!

And last, but certainly not least, I get to be at Craft Lake City again!  This is definitely a not to miss event!

I am excited for all my events I am participating in this year, summertime events are always fun because I get to be there with my things and interact with customers.  Come and introduce yourself to me!
