So, on Thursday I called Casey and asked him, "What would you say if I said I wanted to drive to San Francisco tommorrow?"
He replied, "That would be a blast!"
So on Friday afternoon, we had the children taken care of and off we drove (it's a 10 hour drive for us)
My main reason for wanting to go was this! The Renegade Craft Fair!
We had a blast and I have alot to share, but I am also tired from our fun little trip, and still have to get my kid's Christmas gifts finished. I will share more tomorrow, I purchased lots of yummy handmade things, we visited China town, and the beach, fun, fun!

We did San Fran on a last minute trip in May...Went to the Makerfare......sponsored by Make and craft magazine and they also had Bizaare Baazaar, and Swap-O-Rama-Rama while we were there...........My fav was Swap-O-Rama-Rama.......We have got to get one started here!!!!It was a total blast.....My daughter got to meet Rob and Corrine from Threadbanger.com ..Also anyone going to San Fran has to check out the store Scrap(they have a small website) it is in a warehouse district and a little bit hard to find but the crafting goodness in there will BLOW YOUR MIND! If they know you are from out of town and you say you are a recycling artist or crafter they will give you a DEAL from beyond....We walked out with a whole van load of fabric and crafting supplies for about $30.00 SCORE! what we saved would pay for two or three trips to San Fran no joke! Thank goodness we did not have the guys we gave a ride to with us on the way back or there would not have been enough room for them(we are members of Couchsurfing.Org and if we travel by car and we have extra seats we always try to give rides...Makes us feel more eco friendly....Any glad you got a get away....You always have such rejuvenation...And we loved San Fran SO much we will be going back....
