I think I have sewing ADD or something. I use to be able to sit at my sewing machine working on one project for hours and hours at a time. Now I am doing good if I can work on something for half an hour maybe an hour and then get up and clean something or check my email. And then I can sew again for a bit and then I can get up and clean something again or help my kids out, my days go in cycles like that. And I usually have about two or three projects going at the same time so if I get bored of working on something I can switch. In this picture you can see two different quilts in progress and pillowcase dresses in the top corner laying on top of the pillow.
Am I the only one that does this?

Oh yes, I think I have six or so projects right now - ready for the right amount of tome and the necessary inspiration to intersect! I like working that way.
Seeing as my kids are at a summer camp this week, I am trying to finish several projects - a skirt that I started making a couple of months ago, a dress for my youngest, a patchwork picnic blanket, repairs/adjustments to clothes, the list goes on. And the house could do with a good tidy and clean. Ho hum, must get on.
I have ADD everything. My house looks like a war zone right now becuase I have decided to clean it from top to bottom by the end of July. Weeeellll... I start one room and then see something that needs to be done somewhere else and it goes on and on. This just means we are ambitious people. Right? DH would say it means we are crazy! Good luck with your pretty looking projects!
I think most people fall into the multiple projects categories. :) I definitely do, although sometimes I do think it would be easier if I could just focus on one at a time, but what fun would that be?
I am waaaayyy ADD when it comes to my many projects - I get bored easily. You are not alone! Love your blog and love your music choice! Thanks!

You are TOTALLY normal... or maybe ALL of us crafters are TOTALLY abnormal... whichever it is, you're in good company :)
