Jade turned 7 on Monday! We had her party on Sunday with Family. She requested a homemade white cake with dragonflies on it. I ended up making the dragonflies out of taffy, she loved it.
It was such a nice day, we celebrated outside.
One of her favorite things was a Taylor swift CD, which the next day was promptly loaded on all three girls MP3 players :) And now we can hear them singing along to it throughout the day, too cute.
Here's the bag I made for her, now all three girls have one. Our plan this summer is to go to the library every Monday with the girl's and so now they all have a bag to carry their library books home.
Seven years old Jade, I can't believe it! You always have a smile for me when I smile at you. You are so caring and loving to others. I love your sense of style, it's so fun to see the outfits you come up with! I am amazed at your beautiful singing voice. I'm so happy to be your Mom! I love you Jade!

Kids grow up so fast... when I do eventually have kids I think that will be one of the saddest but also joy filled things about parenthood.
